The Warrior Heir Fairly engaging YA novel about a young, unassuming teenager living in a small town in Ohio who finds out he comes from a long line of Weirlind, a magical people who have been at war with each other since the War of the Roses in England. He's one of the last Warriors, and the two fighting factions of the Roses are looking for a player to enter into the Game. I'm definitely going to try to pick up the sequel, The Wizard Heir, when I've got the funds.
